Alex Mitow

With 22 years of experience spanning hospitality, marketing, and arts administration, Alex Mitow leads marketing, communications, artist curation, and strategic growth at The Superfair.
His work sits at the intersection of strong aesthetic sensibility and commercial clarity, leading to art fair experiences that are welcoming, thoughtfully curated, and built to foster real engagement between artists and collectors.
Alex lives between Brooklyn, Shelter Island, and Mexico City. In addition to his work in the art fair space, he is an accomplished film producer and director. His debut documentary as a director, Neon Reef, premiered at the Miami Film Festival in 2026. He also produced the feature film Peter Hujarβs Day, directed by Ira Sachs, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2025 and is in global distribution.
James Miille
CO-FOUNDER | FOUNDING ADVISOR
James Miille brings a profound aesthetic sense and keen eye to all things Superfair. With a hand in everything from web development and curatorial oversight to managing relationships with The Superfair artist roster, James is a multi-faceted personality who adds detailed visual narrative to an organization rooted in the visual.
James is also a top-selling photographer based in NYC. His artwork is frequently featured in publications such as Architectural Digest, Hi-Fructose Magazine, and Artnet and has also been exhibited in solo exhibitions in New York, Miami, and Paris. He specializes in making ordinary objects float β and yes, he does in fact have two i's in his last name.

Halevy
CURATOR + DIRECTOR OF ARTIST SUCCESS
Sharone Halevy is a self-taught abstract expressionist painter, illustrator, and theater maker, and she creates commission-based works inspired by clientsβ stories and music. Dedicated to empowering others to share their art confidently, Sharone has held residencies and shows in Iceland, Finland, New York, and the Amazon, and developed residencies and educational programs across NYC. Involved with The Superfair since 2021, she is excited to enhance each fair for artists and visitors alike.

Carolina Ulloa brings extensive expertise in client relationship management and a lifelong passion for the arts, which began with creative projects in high school. In her current role, she oversees a diverse portfolio of enterprise clients, collaborates with Sales and Marketing teams to strengthen partnerships with top brands, and develops innovative go-to-market strategies to address complex business challenges. Carolina holds a Bachelorβs degree in Marketing and Psychology and is fluent in Spanish.

Deming Harriman is an artist and designer based in New York City. Her work has been published in TASCHENβs Library of Esoteric series and featured in notable outlets like the Jersey City Times, Washington Post, and Artnet News. Her installations can be found on Royal Caribbean cruise ships and at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in NY. As a Superfair exhibitor alum, she provides valuable firsthand insights in her role as Artist Liaison for The Superfair Team.

Diane Portwood is a mixed media artist with nearly a decade of experience on the art fair circuit. Fully embracing a nomadic lifestyle, she travels the country in her self-converted art camper van, which serves as both her studio and home. Having exhibited with The Superfair across the nation, Dianeβs connection to the community and its mission led her to join The Superfair team. She now brings her unique perspective as an artist to help make the fair experience even better for artists and attendees alike.

Rick is a Brooklyn-based oil painter with a passion for storytelling. After earning a degree in Sound Design for film from The Savannah College of Art and Design, he spent 14 years in post-production and television before becoming a full-time artist in 2019. Following several group and solo exhibitions, his work was featured in the Brooklyn Museum's 200th anniversary show, "The Brooklyn Artists Exhibition," highlighting 200 top borough artists. When not painting, he enjoys listening to records and sipping tea from his favorite teapot in his studio.
